WELCOME<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We specialize in Agroforestry planting stock. This includes low maintenance fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, and planting stock for a variety of edibles and medicinal plants cultivated under a forest canopy. Our goal is to provide hardy, regionally adapted plants and some hard to find species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we’re up to <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting this coming year we will regularly have a variety of bare-root trees: Kingnut Hickories (my current favorite tree, see the nut photo below), Black Walnuts, Chestnuts, Paw Paws, Persimmons, White Oaks and Southern Red Oaks. We will also have container shrubs like Elderberry as well as live stakes for a variety of wetland species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe that perennial crops benefit the world in very powerful ways. Our values are reciprocity with the land and the other life forms we share it with, a deep understanding that humans and our activities are not separate from nature and that generation of food, medicine and other resources can all add to the health of the ecosystem
through proper management practices and right relation with land.
